We decided after breakfast this morning to head over to Lincoln State Park for the morning. Daddy had the day off to compensate for a very long Sunday, and the weather couldn't have been better! The park is not too far of a drive and they have a nice lake, a sandy beach, and a playground. Not to mention a bunch of trails and bike paths, but we didn't take advantage of those today. The kids loved the water and the sand -- tired themselves out completely and both crashed on the way home. We spent a day here last summer as well, amazing how much more enjoyable it was today with the kids both being a year older!
