Silly kids

Grandma Bretz said we would get lots of use out of our Easter baskets, long after the candy and other treats were gone. I guess she was right!

Happy Easter!

We had a wonderful holiday weekend. Saturday we went to Old National's Easter Egg Hunt, and the kids left with quite a stash of treats. Easter morning came and the Easter bunny had surely visited our house leaving both kids some books and candy, Patrick some new John Deere toys and Lucy a stuffed kitten. We went to mass at 8 over at Resurrection and then off to Grandma and Grandpa Bretz's for brunch and another Easter egg hunt. We took a brief break to catch a nap and then it was back to Bretz's for a traditional turkey dinner. We got so many great pictures, check out the slideshow for more. What a fun weekend!

Easter fun!

The cousins came over this morning and we enjoyed Easter jello jigglers and dyed our eggs for this weekend. Ok, Patrick and Uncle Jason dyed all the eggs, the younger kids weren't nearly as impressed but did enjoy the jello treats! Hopefully the Easter bunny finds his way to our house on Sunday!

Enjoying the day

The last couple of days we have spent as much time outside as we possibly can. Patrick especially has really taken to sports (yes, he is kicking a basketball, whatever) is enjoying learning how to bat, throw, dribble, kick and catch. We are thinking about putting him in a t-ball camp or something this summer. And Lucy still enjoys being pulled in the wagon, Patrick will be excellent at managing a trailer some day!
